I am Michael (Wai Tak) Lau, currently a second year CS PhD student at Columbia University, where I mainly work on machine learning for health.
My research interests are in machine learning in healthcare, multimodal models and representaiton learning. I am interested in improving multimodal representaiton that will lead to better clinical tasks performance; including disease diagnosis, treatment recommendation and progression prediciton.
